Our Journey
From four friends on the fairway to a thriving society of over 40 members.
In 2002, a small group of resident golfers began meeting regularly to play at Costa Teguise Golf Club. What started as informal Tuesday and Friday rounds quickly developed into a close-knit group built on friendship, sportsmanship, and a shared love of the game.
As interest grew, the group formally established the Las Palmeras Golf Society in 2007. Clear rules were adopted, competitions were organised, and the Society began operating under recognised golfing standards, creating a strong and lasting foundation.
During the following years, membership increased steadily and the Society attracted local sponsorship. This period marked improved organisation, regular competitions, and wider recognition within the island’s golfing community.
Today, Las Palmeras Golf Society continues to thrive with an active membership, regular events, and a strong sense of camaraderie. The Society remains committed to promoting competitive golf, fairness, and enjoyment for all its members.
